Teams made of up of priests, seminarians, politicians, employees of Radio RTK and St Vincent De Paule, members of the Malta Developers’ Association (MDA), Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin (UĦM), Confederation of Malta Trade Unions (CMTU) and the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) took part in a football tournament in aid of id-Dar tal-Providenza.

The eight-team tournament, organised by Radio RTK, was held at the St Aloysius ground in Birkirkara and had its kick-off by Archbishop Emeritus, Mgr Pawl Cremona OP, in the presence of the Vicar General, Mgr Joe Galea Curmi and the Parliamentary Whips, Dr Godfrey Farrugia and David Agius.
