Siġġiewi Primary School donates over €500 from Fun Walk towards id-Dar tal-Providenza

On Sunday, 24th April 2016, the EcoSchool committee of the Siġġiewi Primary School (Sant’Injazju College), led by Ms Sephorah Sultana, organised a Fun Walk in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza that ended up with over €500 being donated to the Home. The walk started from the Siġġiewi school at nine in the morning and passed through the village’s roads to Id-Dar tal-Providenza. Students, staff, parents and residents congregated at the Misraħ San Giovanni XXIII in front of the chapel and attended a Eucharistic celebration led by Fr Martin Micallef, director of the Home.

At the end of the Mass, the Head of School Ms Natalie Saliba presented the donation that was collected by the participants in the Fun Walk.

This was the fourth consecutive year that the Fun Walk has been organised in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
