“Sanctuary”

“Sanctuary”, a concert of Sacred Music by the St Paul Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Chev Mro Mark Agius was held at St Francis Church in Valletta in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.

The programme included works by Mozart, Lorenc, Mascagni, Rutter, Lloyd Webber, Morricone, Franck, Webster and Brodsky, Caccini, Malotte and Bach.

Also taking part with the St Paul Chamber Ensemble, which brings together thirty-five musicians and a number of classically trained singers, were tenor Antoine Azzopardi, baritones Ivan Vella and Andrew Cassar and bass James Vella Bondin.

“Breath of Heaven”, another concert by the St Paul Chamber Ensemble in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, will be taking place at the parish church of St Lawrence in Birgu on Saturday, 16th December 2017.
