Frate Alessandro, tenor of international acclaim, visits id-Dar tal-Providenza

Frate Alessandro, tenor of international acclaim, visited id-Dar tal-Providenza and met Fr Martin Micallef, Director of the Home, a group of residents and administration officials. He was given a tour of the chapel, Dun Mikiel’s museum, and the Dun Mikiel’s burial place where he prayed for a few minutes.

Frate Alessandro is in Malta to perform on Saturday 7th February in a Concert of Sacred Music in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund at St Publius Church in Floriana accompanied by the Vilhena Concert Band under the direction of Mro. Heathcliffe Balzan. Also taking part are Harpist Anne Marie Camilleri Podesta, soprano Ruth Sammut Casingena and tenor Arthur Micallef.
