“Annie – The Musical” in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza
On the 21st of May 2016, Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be presenting the production “Annie – The Musical” at the Catholic Institute in Floriana. Residents of the Home will be taking part together with various kids well known on Maltese TV. Amongst them are Geordie Schembri who will be interpreting Annie, known for her part in the televised serial “Iċ-Ċaqqufa’ and Aiken Buhagiar who is presently cast in another TV serial “Strada Stretta” who will be interpreting Donald.
“Annie – The Musical” takes us back in time when Annie from the municipal orphanage is on a quest to find her parents. With the help of her dog Sandy and Miss Farrell she manages to meet Warbucks, the billionaire. Then, the adventures start.
“Annie – The Musical” will be taking place on Saturday, 21st May at 6.00pm. Tickets for a donation of €5 may be obtained from Id-Dar tal-Providenza in Siġġiewi, its Valletta office at 244 St Paul Street, Valletta which is open Monday to Saturday between 9.00am and 12.30pm, and the booking office and bar of the Catholic Institute in Floriana.
