A Tackle for Id-Dar tal-Providenza

A Tackle for Id-Dar tal-Providenza is taking place on Monday 30th December. It is happening at the St Aloysius College sports ground in Birkirkara and kick-off is at 4.30pm. Taking part will be the deputy leaders of the Government and Opposition parties, the trade union leaders and a group of priests.

 

Archbishop Paul Cremona OP will be kicking off the Tackle For Id-Dar tal-Providenza tournament, Monday 30th at 4.30pm at the St Aloysius College sports ground. Eight teams will be taking part. One is made up of priests, another by members of Parliament led by Labour Deputy Leader Dr Toni Abela and Nationalist Party Leader Dr Simon Busuttil. Other teams are made up of trade unionists from the GWU, UHM, CMTU and MHRA, staff of Radio RTK and representatives of the Developers’ Association. Games will be officiated by Charles Azzopardi, a FIFA referee.
