A fun-filled day for all the family at Montecristo Estates in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza

For the first time ever, the entire grounds at Montekristo Estate in Hal Farrug are going to be open to the general public. This will be next Sunday, 1st June, with the aim of collecting funds for Dar tal-Providenza.

The Montekristo experience is a unique one owing to the vast range of activities and shows spread over the 400 tumolo estate. The whole family will be entertained with various attractions, including the Montekristo Equestrian Club that are organizing a horse jumping and dressage show specifically for this event.

The general public will be allowed to visit the transport museum in which one finds a considerable number of carts, carriages and other modes of transport used in the days of old in Malta.

One can also visit the Animal Park in which there are over 100 different species of animals that are sure to grab the attention and excitement of both adults and children.

Activities during this open day include:
Zumba
Face Painting for Children
Classic Cars Exhibit
Pony Rides
Falcon Shows
Bouncy Castles
Food Stalls
And Much More

The estate itself, built using recycled stone, houses various masterpieces of local artists, as is the bronze fountain by the sculptor Chris Ebejer. The estate grounds also offer areas of relaxation together with various food and drink stalls that are all ingredients leading to a great day out for the family.

The entrance fee is that of €5 which will all go as a donation to Dar tal-Providenza. Children under the age of 12 are free.

Opening hours are from 1000hrs through 2100hrs. Please call on 99270581 for more information.
