Lighting design of Misraħ San Giovanni XXIII at Id-Dar tal-Providenza shortlisted for WIN Awards

The lighting design that was used to illuminate artistically Misraħ San Giovanni XXIII inaugurated last May at Id-Dar tal-Providenza, has been shortlisted in this year’s World Interiors News (WIN) Annual Awards taking place in London on next December 2nd.

The design was submitted for the competition by Galea&Galea Architects who planned and executed the lighting system that is now an important and intrinsic part of Misraħ San Giovanni XXIII. It is one of eight shortlisted from a total of twenty-five submissions from around the world.

A spokesperson for WIN said that the jury panel had a difficult time reaching their verdict and were partricularly impressed with the exceptionally high standard of submissions. The WIN awards are the largest interior and product design awards worldwide.
