Id-Dar tal-Providenza 2015 Diaries on the way to all households

The pocket diary of Id-Dar tal-Providenza for 2015 is currently being distributed in every household in Malta and Gozo. Maltapost has again offered to distribute the diaries free of charge.

Fr Martin Micallef, Director of id-Dar tal-Providenza, said this edition of the diary is commemorating the special occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Home’s founding by Mgr Mikiel Azzopardi on 12th September 1965 with articles and photos. He added that “whilst this anniversary helps us appreciate what has been achieved it has to encourage us to look ahead to continue realizing the Vision, the Mission and the Values of Id-Dar tal-Providenza in the years to come.”

This diary, with its information that is useful throughout the whole year, provides an opportunity for a show of solidarity with the Home that offers residency with the right environment to one hundred and seven persons with disability so that they can foster their personal growth. Over the past few weeks many volunteers from all walks of life gave a helping hand to pack these diaries in special envelopes. As in previous years, apart from a detailed calendar, the diary includes the very useful timetable for daily and Sunday masses in all churches in Malta and Gozo. A list highlighting all the parish feasts in these islands has also been included.

The coloured photo on the cover is a Mosaic. The work of Christopher Grima on a design bu Kenneth Grima both of the Day Centre of Aġenzija Sapport in Fleur-De-Lys.
Middlesea Valletta Life Assurance Company Ltd. And Gasan Mamo Insurance sponsored the printing of the diary.
