Id-Dar tal-Providenza gets cheque for €975,401 raised by RTK4Charity

Archbishop Paul Cremona OP presented a cheque for €975,401 to Fr Martin Micallef, Director of Id-Dar tal-Providenza. This sum was raised during the Festa ta’ Generożita’ organized by RTK4Charity last New Year’s Day. Archbishop Cremona thanked all those who with their donations are out to do good whilst he also thanked the entities that benefited from this generosity for the Christian service they offer. He said that these are showing in fact what providence means. The Archbishop thanked RTK for organising the two annual fund raising campaigns during the last months of the year from which five Church entitites, amongst them Id-Dar tal-Providenza, have benefited from a total of €1,010,000. He expressed satisfaction that volunteering is still very strong in our country.
